Famed GameStop bull Keith Gill, better known as DeepFuckingValue on Reddit, is being accused of fraud. Allegations surfaced last week that Gill claimed to be an “autist” to gain the trust of the r/WallStreetBets community, but his IQ is in fact well above 65.
“While Gill claimed to be a “fellow autist” to build trust with the community, he actually has a respectable IQ of 115,” said plaintiff’s attorney Daniel Arnold, who filed the fraud suit in New Hampshire court.
Arnold said he filed the suit due to Gill’s false claims of being a “fellow GameStop retard”, which can’t be true based on Gill’s above average intelligence.
A few members of the r/WallStreetBets community were upset that Gill lied about his “autist” level. Many believed that Gill was also mindlessly piling into GameStop in order to follow the crowd.
“The fact that he may have actually had the capacity to do some legitimate fundamental analysis on the stock sickens me,” said one of the plaintiffs in the suit, 17-year old Robinhood trader Mitch Parker. “He should have gone all-in without any thought like the rest of us.”
