Markets are falling Monday on speculation that Elon Musk won’t be on the board of every single public company, as previously expected.
Investors started bidding up equities last week on rumors that Musk would eventually take a board seat, and eventually the CEO title, of every single publicly listed company.
However, hopes were dashed on Sunday evening as Twitter announced that Musk would not take a board seat. Investors are still hopeful that Musk will join the board of Peloton, Nikola, and Clover Health later this week.
