SEC lawyer Brent Miller was “starstruck” Tuesday as he walked by a group of Chinese security regulators in Washington D.C.
“They are by far the best and toughest around,” Miller told Hard Money. “It’s like meeting the 1927 Yankees or Muhammad Ali in his prime.”
Miller asked for an autograph on a manila folder he happened to be carrying. According to Miller, the Chinese regulators even offered up a few tips on how Miller could improve his technique and summon the courage to bring cases against companies.
“They told me to believe in myself,” said Miller. “I was so inspired by their words that I rushed back to the office and processed an entire two anonymous tips before heading home at 4:15.”
